Thursday mid-day & all mid-day's to become "on demand"

We are evaluating the viability of our midday service on Thursday. Unless the masses speak we arediscontinuing regular 1pm Thursday runs. Because of low ridership, we feel we should not continue. It was a good experiment and we apologize for anyone that regulary uses the trip or has already made plans.

We do want to serve you, and ask that if you have mid-day requests, give us a day or two notice! Thank you and let us know what you need.

From Gold Hill Town News:

GOLD HILL SESQUICENTENNIAL
UPCOMING EVENTS
The kick-off events over Memorial Day weekend for our celebration of 150 years as a community got us off to an excellent start. Coming up soon are two more events you will not want to miss.

-      Saturday, June 20: Mining Days, Noon to 3 PM: Sinner’s Side yard, across from the Bluebird Lodge
-         Demonstrations of blacksmithing and hard rock hand drilling
-         Displays of mining equipment
-         Talks on the geology of gold
-         Sales of commemorative items- t-shirts, coffee mugs, buttons
-         Sale of Cornish pasties (Yum!) **see below for advance orders**
-         Museum open 11 AM with its newly organized display

**The popularity of the Cornish pasties at the Memorial Day Gold Hill Sesquicentennial event meant that they ran out quickly. To make sure that everyone has a chance to enjoy them, advance orders are now being taken for pasties for the June 20th Mining Days event. Payment in advance is necessary.
Please email the quantity you wish to buy to John Sand ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ) no later than Tuesday night, June 16, and drop off your payment at the Sand house, 620 Main St., or put it in their mailbox, at the corner of Main and Prospect Sts.. The cost is $3 each (they will be $4 on the day of the event). Only 50 are available for advance order, so order early and save money!

Go Boulder Presents Bike to Work Day  Wednesday June 24

see the official link to GO BOULDER

Register there for prizes and if you want, you can register with The Climb as your company if your are independent.

We'd love to put your bike on the rack so you can head down and ride to work. Stop at their food stations for some extra breakfast! If you ride your bike down, we can take you back up. If for some reason our rack is full on both trips, we will make another. Please email us if you plan to do this or if you would like us to add an additional trip!
