Our winter policy will be to cancel our runs according to the Boulder Valley School District Decision.

If the BVSD decides to cancel school, we will also cancel. We hope that helps make our decision more available and clear. We will reserve the ability to run if we can.

Sustainable Transportation Links

There is some great activity going on in sustainable transportation. Just an FYI, until proven otherwise I think the Climb is the only waste oil powered scheduled shuttle. Also, some members of Boulder county are help us out. We are now members of a Co-Op started by Sustainable oil Services. It is located on Valtec Circle on the north side of Arapohoe past 75th.

We are now able to store our VO in a warm place and buy great quality B100 for nearly the price of diesel. This co-op also needs everyone's help in gathering supplies of vegetable oil. If you own a restaurant and need to have oil service, the co-op can pick up to 150 gallons per month.  If you eat something fried at a restaurant, please inquire about their oil contract. You never know who can help!

Also, there is a meet-up dedicated to helping Boulder become a leader in green transportation. The group wants to put a vision together for our leaders that can help reduce the number of vehicle on the road (especially larger ones) by using more paths for more types of vehicle like ebikes, golf carts, buses, etc.

 http://www.meetup.com/SustainableTransportationColorado/

Currently the group is trying to gather a database of types/modes of transportation and match the mode with the correct type of path/corridor. If you are prone to emailing, please email your suggestions to me at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

Thanks!
